What does it mean when the Cathexis video database states degraded?

One or more of the CathexisVision video database slices inaccessible. (Drive failure, file system corrupt, etc).

Check that all database volumes are accessible by the OS and CathexisVision software. The database will list the
missing slice and the associated drive/volume (G:/catdb/....slice name.../, etc) in the database setup.

Replace the missing volume, delete the missing slice in the database setup, and then expand the database by adding a new
slice on the replacement volume.
