Is the performance of Cathexis Server the same under Windows 11 and Ubuntu 16 ?

VMS performance is very similar however Windows is more resource hungry. Linux is recognized as a more stable/secure OS depending on the installer, can easily run on a VM and is free. Windows is easier to use from an installation and user perspective.

The big difference is that for advanced AI analytics only Windows support the NVIDIA GPU's currently. You can use the CPU's onboard GPU with Linux but not the graphic card GPU for analytics.

There may well be Linux support for NVIDIA GPU's in the future but nothing currently.
