How long will a slave NVR function if it is disconnected from the CathexisVision site master holding all the licenses?
Answer
A slave NVR is marked as absent after 28 days.
This means it will cache the master or site NVR licenses for a 28 day period, and then after that it disconnects the unit/licenses.
If it cannot find the licenses on the master or disconnected server which forms part of the site, then it will become completely unlicensed.
